  • Potential battery drain issue?

I've got a mk6 Golf R and I've been getting the following tone / chime when I unlock the doors (but prior to starting the car).

I've read elsewhere that this is some sort of battery drain, but for the life of me can't work out what's causing it. I've already replaced my battery in March this year but now the dreaded tone is back.

I've had a dashcam running for a few years now and this chime is only coming up years down the track. I've tried disconnecting my dashcam overnight and I still get the tone on some mornings.

Other than the dashcam, everything comes from the factory (ie. RCD510, Bluetooth, etc)

    Does anyone have any ideas?

Alternatively, does anyone know who I can take the car to around Melbourne (eastern suburbs) to get this diagnosed? I've asked the dealer and sent them the above video but they have no idea.

    Thanks heaps!
