  • Installing in radio a Mk5 Jetta?

    Hi guys,
I am upgrading my stereo to RNS 510 ( the sat nav one).
My current 6 stacker is great, I am giving it to a mate with an 06 Jetta ....his radio has no screen and a single CD.
How involved is it to change over? if even possible? just curious
    Thanks

you need to remove the top air vent unit to remove the radio trim to access the radio...the swop is plug and play for both cars. might need to mod the aerial connection as some have 2 single wires and newer ones have a double plug..if your 6 front loader is a RCD510 The 06 jetta will need a gateway upgrade to stop flat batteries...VDUB..
