  • Installing used ECM Immob 3

Any extra info would be great if anyone has come across similar issue

Long story short i need to adapt a used ECM to a vehicle. I've read that the pin is required for the used ECM not the original pin. How can this be extracted or found out? Has anyone come across this issue. Any extra info would be great. Cheers.

Re: Installing used ECM Immob 3

The companies who repair the ECUs can help you. The Autologic can read it as well, but I'm not sure how easy or difficult would that be when the ECU is out of the original vehicle.

Yep, Immobiliser III-onwards is adapted to the ECU.

The dealer will obtain authorisation online from Germany to do it.
