  • Checking correct timing belt installation in VCDS on MK4 Golf

    Hi Guys,

    Finally received my dongle and im able to connect and read fault codes etc. But i cannot find where to check correct timing values in the measuring blocks. What am i missing??

    What engine? There's no adjustments to make that I am aware of, certainly on a GTI.

      sorry newbie mistake... 1.8 AGN N/A. I did all the timing belt/waterpump tensioners etc myself (aligned everything on timing marks (flywheel,cam gear)) and everything is fine just wanted to know if theres a way i can check if im a tooth out or anything via VCDS. As I said nothing suggests it is as its running fine but would like to double check.
