Has anyone been able to turn off or stop the seatbelt warning ding ding ding when its not plugged in? I dont always need to be wearing the seatbelt when in the car so short of plugging it in anyway which is a pain.
Any ideas or solutions?
Don't know about the T5, but I think on some VW models it can be done with VCDS.
Alternatively, if you're reasonably handy you should be able to make a copy of the seat belt connector and insert it into the stalk (or pick up a scrap belt from a wrecker or body shop and cut the connector off.)
Thanks, i suppose now i have to find someone to turn it off for me. The local VW dealer /service dept is the worst place for ripping you off so i'll be looking around first.Anyone know a good Vw service centre on the Central Coast Nsw ??
