Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone could help recode my canbus. Im in melbourne from the northern suburbs. Happy to meet someone that can help. Im suffering from battery drain because i recently installed a rcd510 in my car without updating canbus gateway.
If anyone could help it would be greately appreciated.

Have you bought a new gateway yet? It sounds like you might need one because of the draining. Part 1k0907530 (Letter code L or higher) I think for golf. A recode will not fix draining issues, but will still be required.

Unless your current gateway is one of these, then you are going to need a new gateway. If yours is listed as updatable on that list, then you could get a dealer or someone with a VAG CAN Pro to flash your current canbus gateway, or talk to this guy in adelaide.

Max Boost PSI Reading

Hi Guys,

Looking for help to confirm the MAX PSI Boost reading I am getting on my Scirocco R via a Bluetooth OBDLink MX (ScanTool.net LLC - OBDLink MX Scan Tool | OBD Interface | App Accelerator - ScanTool.net) to my Android App.

Currently it is reading 37PSI MAX Boost. This is double what it should be.

In Sydney, Lidcombe area. Happy to drive around where needed

Is there a setting in the program to halve the reading or read it from a different location? I remember my car has to be read from the diagnostics network, not one of the other two available.

Hmm, double. The infotainment bus on many VWs does present boost at half the correct value... I've never heard of double. But at any rate, you can get the accurate values from VCDS.
