@MIG: yes, I understand how a legit GeKo account and ODIS access can provide OP a way of "CP matching" his new hex13 module - but simply having J2434 (with, or without an out-of-date VCDS device) ain't going to do it!!! Hence my intrigue.

Also, thanks for the info on the 7NO chassis radars (I didn't know this) - but I still haven't heard that anyone had managed to hack a MQB platform version radar (Why would Bosch continue to leave the debug header open on the MCU on these later modules?)

ODIS supports J2434 devices. Is there some technical requirement that's missing? My understanding is that this is how independent shops have access to Geko, ODIS-S 10.0.0 | ODIS-E 14.1.0 | AUTEL J2534 - YouTube

i used the passthru dongle and access to odis by paying $40 for a single 1 hour use from these guys...

but it wasn't long before i got the dreaded ACC and front assist no sensor view warning...



I'm hoping its linked to the alignment settings and i'm planning on following this thread to try and resolve it...

Yep, before I got my one dialled in, it was only 50m before it cut off.

Check the error log and measuring values for angle. If you can park on level ground, use your phone spirit level to get the up-down adjustment right, then tweak the left-right.

If you have a laser level, getting the little mirror in line with the car's thrust angle is a good place to start.
