Vag com help need on the Gold Coast

Hello,
Recently fitted a dark side egr delete on my 2008 caddy 1.9tdi(bls) and have been told the mil indicator can be turned permanently off by deleting the egr with vag com ? Can anyone help ? Would be great if also a garage/mechanic as I need my injectors lashed correctly and timing checked

Doubt you can turn off egr with vcds. Have you got the process? I know someone with a cable might be able to help you.
