Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Dyno Runs and Quarter Mile days - any upcoming?

Does anyone know of upcoming days in Melbourne where you can take your car for:

    1. Dyno run day, preferably organised day to keep cost down - no Tune required just 2-4 runs to log power output with and without module
    2. Any organised 1/4 mile days to test out your car

What are the differences between rolling road and hub dyno's?

    Cheers, John

Thought I would bump this in case anyone had some updated info on organised dyno days (preferably) or 1/4 mile days in Melbourne

I see there is occasionally banter on whether "plug in" style power modules are worth their money or even work.
Be nice to test what I have to remove any doubt.
