Kraftwerk (power module) and ABT Sportsline tunes for Polo GTI ?

Any members heard anything, good or bad, about the following 2 tunes which are both available for the later CTHE engine???? Would like to hear from Golf, Scirocco etc owners etc as well as Polo owners.

Kraftwerk power module
"increase to approximately 155kw/305Nm". High cost, initial details and specs. provided are vague and I have sought clarification.

"STD 180 hp (132 kW), 250 Nm to ABT 210 hp (154 kW), 290 Nm" High cost but I believe includes additional warranty - "we even offer to take over the remaining manufacturers warranty on your engine and the entire drivetrain for up to 2 years/100.000km". Looks impressive -

One other - Superchips Bluefin NZ/AU although requires ECU to be opened to "programme the file we have to do it direct to the ECU. After that the Bluefin can be used to install and uninstall the upgrade".

I suspect everything else I have been told is coming for this model ECU are false promises.

Get in touch with Tarmac Engineering (either here: https://tarmacengineering.com.au/ or Tarmac the user on here) as I am not sure if they have got something ready for the Polo or not yet. If they have, based on my results, it's definately a good way to go.

Thanks DonJuan. After reading good things in the Golf forum Re Tarmac I did this a while ago. Ben said he was hopeful of something for my Polo early this year, as is APR, Viezu etc etc.

ABT will take over the remaining 3 year VW warranty, not sure if kraftwerk has a similar deal. If you make any other 'tuning' changes, even just a TB exhaust, the ABT warranty will not apply.

If you do have engine dramas after fitting the module there will be no hiding the fact, from VW, that the engine tuning parameters have been changed.

I can vouch for the performance increase the ABT module has given my Polo GTI although for your Golf R the increase should be quite dramatic.
