Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Melbourne North, Place to get TBE done

    Sorry i tried searching but all posts where a few years old.

    Now i have golf 118tsi mk6 and i am looking at doing a few things,

    APR stage 1
    APR CAI
    TBE

    Anyone know of any places to get the TBE done in north Melbourne suburbs (Thomastown and surroundings)

    from the old posts i found that there is no pre fab'd TBE kit but is that the case still?

    Hi Dan,

    I got my exhaust done at Triple R mufflers in fawkner. They do custom TBE exhausts and I was quoted $1250 to get it done.

    They are friendly and can book you in with short notice. Someone I know got their A3 done there and he too was very happy.

      Awesome i will give them a ring, with the custom TBe do you get much cabin noise ?

        Hey Dan, If you haven't already had this done we can do a carbon fibre intake, Stainless turbo back exhaust and custom dyno tune for you for $3,995 if your interested. However we are in Dandenong so it would be a day trip. Get in touch if your interested.
