It was DSG too which helps.

What about R32s? I still haven't taken mine to the track, should happen next sunday. I heard that stock R32 should do low 14s. Is that right?1991 BMW 318is RED E30

I went a while ago and only got 14.6. I just couldn't get traction in 1st or 2nd. 2.6 60 footers suck.
The drags is all about the start not how fast your going hence the advantage of DSG.

well my conclusion is a chipped MK4 will be doing about 15 flat & MK5 (not chipped) would be on 14.8-15.

I got 14.3 and it was pretty damn hot too, mid 30s on-track. So if it was cooler and I had a bit more practice, possibly high 13s
