          The only way is to plug in a reader(programmer) and see what it comes up with

              You'll have to see if the tuners program can read your ECU over the OBD port.

              This is different from a VCDS cable/software as VCDS is not reading/writing the tuning parameters

                  Get the ECU part number, either with a VCDS or preferably a picture of the data off it. Then google that information/post in this thread.
