    ECU Soldering

    Hi guys,

    I've posted this in the repairers forum but realised its probably more suited to here. Does anyone know of/ are you a person who can solder ECUs (specifically a mk3 VR6 ECU) ?? I have to replace the current 44 pin IC chip with a socket so I can insert the upgraded chip but also go back to stock if needed. It is a surface mount chip I do believe.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

        it might help.

        its not an overly difficult task so it should be a walk for some of these guys.

        just get a couple of sockets from jaycar.
