Anyone ever find a solution to this? or someone to do it? I just purchased one of these (upgrading from the lowline DIS) I have VCDS but quickly discovered it needs more than just a few check-boxes and long coding to activate.
any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated (as good as it looks as a coffee table paperweight)

I assume the dealers have the tools you need, not sure about the know-how though
Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.

haha thats always the way though isn't it, abundant equipment, severely limited know-how. So no tools which will deliver the cluster unlock code? or a way to bypass it (yes i know the danger of making finding the code too easy to find.. car theives, chop shops and so on)

considering our dealer VAS pc cost somewhere upwards of 10g, its no surprise you guys with your $200 lead cant do the things we do. Alot of it has to do with VW authorisation.

Considering how many bad experiences there are mentioned concerning most dealers, it's no surprise many go the DIY route and spend $300-400 on a cable
