awesome - because no matter where i look, it seems that the pd100 turbo is alway always always at least a little bit more expensive than the pd130/150 turbos, which baffles me....

i dont really want more power as i dont want to upset the balance of the car that i've spent time and money to achieve, but if it's going to cost $200 less to put 30 more hp/ 50 more nm into the car.... then i guess i'll have no choice, lol.

and darkside - sick. i got my clutch off them. WELL happy with their rapidity of their service, as well as the service itself.

i am seriously interested if anyone has committed to the upgrade.
I dont want to go any further than that as the xtra 50-60 ponies will be suffice.

      Looking for advice

What tune did you end up going for Peter?

How did you end up choosing?

In general bigger turbo's are more efficient, so they can make more power at lower boost. Smaller turbo's often have less inertia and could spool a bit sooner.

If you didn't mind a little more turbo lag, you could run a bigger (cheaper?) turbo with lower boost and achieve more power.

I have just recently got my Scirocco R and upon doing a bit of research, reading about guys with tunes boosting up to 25+ psi? which I thought was a massive amount of boost, compared to my old car which used to make 235whp on 6psi boost on a daily tune, but then again the engine is designed to take boost so its not a big deal i guess.
