I would say go the R32 motor, simply because its NA power which is the same as the small turbo engine...then...you turbo the R32 motor later on! Double WIN
Last night i was fiddling around on Forza 4 and ended up with a supercharged 2.8L Mk1 and it hauls some serious arse!
I would go that route.
I should have thought about it before I bought it I'm feeling the R32 becaue not many people have them...but not many people have vr6t either... in aus anyway.
hmmmm they would both be hella cool for my application
I already have a gearbox built that fits both applications.
I have megasquirt 3 mapped for the r32 motor. It wouldnt be too hard to tune up for the vr6 turbo.
If I went r32 route I would be spending almost 2k on cams, valves and springs. If I did the turbo I would be spending 2k on injectors, intake, manifold, turbo and a random intercooler kit.
I'm leaning towards vr6 turbo... but then again maybe I could do a decomp on the 32 and twin turbo it? Smaller turbo and a bigger one?
