Golf R stock AFR & Boost graph v's tuned

Hi there

Anyone care to show a before & after of their stock v's tuned AFR's & Boost graphs. Don't have to show power numbers so as not to get into a p155ing contest. But a power graph is handy for the all important area under the curve, that so many in the modified car scene fail to appreciate........

Heres some stock runs both 6MT's
Goran @ 163~164 ATW on our dyno usually 155 but he had fitted a THS FMIC and an unnamed HPFP

I don't think anyone really bothers logging their cars really, only those interested in the technical side of things. Now if you were after pointers for the ultimate Faux Carbon look the thread would be on page 10 by now

The Wastegate Actuators that i am getting now also come in Carbon Fibre!! Stronger than Stainless and Lighter then alloy!!

On a side note i have also found a sticker that you put on your car made by @p* that gives you an extra 20hp atw...

Um, yes, yes it is! Jealous? That is what happens when you dream of an AM DB5 that James Bond drove and watch too much Spaceballs!!! Im sure it added power somewhere...maybe in the wrist??

Rattles? But it's made of Carbon Fibre!!! (Said in the tone that the scout kid used in the Movie "UP" when he was talking about the Talking Dog)

I think the rattle thing can only be that it wasn't adjusted properly when it was installed. You have to take up the slack so to speak and allow a touch for expansion.

Nah Mark. I've not looked into the aftermarket actuators for the R. It was just making a quip in relation to the hundreds of pages of threads on this forum about the "other" actuator rod topic... the rattle under acceleration in the EA888 engine.

phew I was thinking that I was about to see a bunch of guys complaining about weird noises . All the mark 6's need is a decent exhaust and the noise is cured or at least masked
