Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    Golf V GTI exhaust

    Hi Guys,

    My mate owns a Golf V GTI 06. He has eliminated the resonator part of the exhaust system and it sounds a bit nicer and more responsive at lower revs. Has anyone made any similar modifications? And what kind of results did you get? Is it worth having it done?
