Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

in terms of suspension, im interested in coilovers. There is a great set of cheap coil overs on the ecstuning site for 550 ish. thats handing sorted. Brakes are another option but these will do for now, im not going to be doing any track work.. well any time soon.
I can grab the apr k04 with software, turboback, cold air intake, injectors, pump, intercooler-sidemount, fuel reg, DV, coilovers, necessary piping and clutch for the 5000 ish posted! etc.

    how strong are the diffs?

is there anything else im missing, eg sensors such as map....???
    any grey areas??

No support from APR here if you buy from the States.

You might need a diff with the K04, but sort that out later

Everything in your list is what you need. APR doesn't call for injectors if I recall correctly. If you're getting injectors, go with a different tuner.

Plenty of headroom in the stock injectors @ 4 bar for ~ 150wkw. If you are going bigger than a K04, you may need to upgrade fuel pump / injectors, but that depends on what the fuel requirements are.

alrighty. that was a concern for me, if grabbed new injectors how would this affect the software for the Apr k04 tune. So i just leave the pump and injectors out. (means ive got more money to spend on gearbox and/ or handling.
everything ive stated- im hard pressed to see that is would struggle for the 150kw/w.
anyway you guys have been very helpful.
i think ive had all my questions answered... no more spring to mind.

            Cheers!!
