They actually developed the turbo'ed version of that engine for Lotus Super Seven replicas (ie Caterham 7 etc) - another company make a n/a 1600cc stroked version.
When placed back in the bike (a magazine had them do it for a mega powered bike comparison), the rear tyres last for about 5 minutes if ham fisted with the throttle (worse with the n/a version due to the low down torque).Resident grumpy old fart
