Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    dsg burble noise

    Hey watercooled, does anybody now if there is a way to make the dsg burble (fart) noise when it shifts gears LOUDER , having a gti pirelli , its does that fart noise but i would like to know if it can be made louder????? any ideas .........

      And why is this in the events section?
      I thought it was going to be a cruise where everyone gets together and rev's their DSG equipped car's to make a concert of DSG Farts.

          Don't take that fart sound for granted... Before long you will hear a pop, bang, whine sound as you DSG heads south in a chorus of busted clutches and failing mechatronics...
