Yep, I take it out every night and let it sleep next to me

In all seriousness, nothing was done to the turbo or actuator. If you wan't to know everything that has been done to my car, feel free to ring Lucas from Eurospeed, I am sure he will tell you as he tells no lies.

That's cool there's actually nothing wrong with actuator mods anyway as long as the tune takes that into account. We do this when required.
I'm always keen to see what everyone does.

An update, so as some of you know on Thursday I took my car to get it's DSG flash done. I opted for the HPA Stage 3 DSG. WOW! What a noticeable difference, the car now holds the gears longer, and the car tends to sit in gear 4 for most of my driving so I have usable power on tap without having to worry about dropping down a gear.

Anyway today I had to study for a Uni test tomorrow so I thought no better way to procrastinate then to go down to RE Customs and get another Dyno run.

You should have seen the dyno operator's face, he couldn't believe from just a DSG flash that it could make that big a difference in overall power.

Nothing has changed in the car apart from the flash, in fact today was hotter than last time! :O

I also thought I'd get another comparison graph of my car vs that Golf R APR STG 2+

Very nice dc... LOVE THAT power curve, compared to THAT Golf R .

Hey DeanCorp, car is looking good. Who performed the HPA DSG Flash for you in Australia? Are you allowed/is it appropriate to mention the price? Cheers.

Thanks Corey_R! Sam from CPC came down to Melbourne to flash it for me I went stage 3 which is $2395. Stage 2 was on special for $1195. Stage 3 requires an upgraded clutch pack and is more agressive.

Aah cool thanks. I thought the Stage 4 needed the upgraded clutch?! The HPA site says that Stage III is ok with stock clutches up to 400bhp (but then, the HPA site seems to not have updated the DSG info in a long time?).

So did you upgrade the clutch to get Stage 3, or did you already have that done? Which DSG clutch product did you use and did you have to import that yourself or did you find someone local?

I was told Clutch pack upgrade is recommended for any application greater than Stage 2.

I already had clutch installed at the same time I put in the LSD. I went for the 500HP SSP Clutch Pack and Seals a lot of the guys in the States use this. I ordered through Lucas @ Eurospeed (www.eurospeed.net.au) he did the install of both clutch & LSD, and sourced parts too. All I had to do was hand over the cash and drop the car off
