Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I wasn't aware we had an MTM distributor here.
They are quite prevelant over in the EU but i don't know of anyone here running their software.

I went with APR mainly due to local support and other's testimonies.

Probably pay a lot more for less than what you would get out of an APR or GIAC tune (I find it hard to believe GIAC don't offer a tune yet).
MTM are another level above in "class" and so oyu pay for it.

If you were in Sydney we could help you too but your in Vic so your limited to what you can do down there. If its the earlier model Mk6 you might be able to avoid removing the ECU and use a bluefin (superchips) otherwise you'll have to go one of the others but then your ECU is locked for everafter Mowowahhhaa. They are all good though.
