1998 vw polo 1.6

just bought my first vw! love it!

my first mod will be suspension, does anyone have any suggestions? i would like to lower the ride height because it has alot of body roll on corners. and if anyone has anything for sale, that would be helpful too.

2 options.

- Height adjustable coilovers.
- Cup kit (Springs and shocks)

I suggest while you have the suspension out replace front strut tops and check all associated bushings etc.

i had a 6n with Weitec springs and sticky rubber in it. WHAT a BLAST! The thing handled fantastically! It'd 3 wheel everywhere!

I'd say grab some coilovers from "slammed distribution" (PM Lorenz or Robin) That way you have the height adjustment too
