Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Carbonio Intake for Golf R

    Hi all

I'm travelling to the US very shortly and am wondering if someone knows whether the Carbonio intake on the US APR website (part # CI100012) will fit on an Aussie Golf R? It's almost half the price!

I apologise if this has already been covered

    Thanks guys

Yeah will be fine. Even though the steering wheels are in different spots, the engines are not.

Nice one and probably the way to go! Real easy to install

      Thanks REXman

Yeah, it makes sense that the engines would be identical, although you just never know sometimes....

Hopefully buying an aftermarket part will help ease the pain on the wait!
