    INMOTION TUNING

Anyone ever heard of, or used this Company, they are offering tuning chips for $220.00.

I realise this has come up before with regards to $20 ebay chips but this mob actually have a site and Warranties etc..

    Just wondering

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The Big 3-4 companies (APR, GIAC, Custom-Code etc) all have extensive product testing and support.
That is the reason their products are more expensive but theyt are definitely worth it over a cheapy ebay chip.

inmotion is a chiping company, me n mate used their chip.

worked fine, had to solder it in yourself but we got it done at work.

      was perfect nothing wrong.

So you have one fitted, and for the $$$ you have had no adverse effects?

I understand the there must be a difference between this and the 'others', but for the cost, if its not doing engine damage it has to be worth a go...doesnt it?

Is it an easy chip install?

        Thanks

You should be able to flash your ECU BrettD, this would remove the risk of doing any damage it.

I am not saying this as a provider of software but as someone who works with electronics for a day job. I replaced the chip in my S3 as it had APR installed previously on one of their ECMS boards and even with proper training and equipment, things still went wrong. I recovered it but I don't thing the "man on the street" would have had the same result.

It's not all about the initial cost.

whats an extra $600 + for piece of mind, when you KNOW the tuning company has spent the $$$ and time making sure your engine will last with their tune
