  • eliminator turbo kits

Has anyone has experience with this kits I am thinking of one for my mk2 1.8t i need more power!!!

the kit allows the turbo to fit straight up to the exsisting mani.

of course ill be doing a new surge system with 040 and injectors.

would it be cheaper to change your mani flange pattern and get a local turbo ?

How much power are you chasing? The gt3 turbo kit looks the goods, but the standard exhaust manifold is restrictive to massive power due to its small ports. Go an aftermarket manifold with the GT 28 flange pattern

thats the old atp eliminator series with custom exhaust housing, new eliminators use the original gt28rs as far as i know with up-pipe to oem mani. i haven't heard good things about the old ones, fitting/reliability issues, spool coming on late due to stock mani/small exhaust housing or something like that.
check out pag parts t3 super 60 kit, kinetic t3/t4, etc. there is a selection of turbos to choose from.

            or gt28rs

Im running an 02A, i've killed to many 020 boxes in the past... If all you want is 250 hp you could simply run a KO4 with the right tuning, exhaust, intercooler, management etc you will easily get 250 hp.

depends which k04 you are talking about, with bolt-on k04 you'd be lucky to get that atw.

well i have a qpeng so thats tunable and not hard to do,

erm as for the box, its just luck of the draw i hope!

yer i heard the eliminator kits were poo, I have a front mount etc etc so im set for some good gains but the K04 - 001 has mixed reviews some people say yes some people say no,

i guess i should just man up and hit up the gt28rs

None of these kits will work in a RHD configuration...
Trust me I found out the hard way.
We are developing a kit right now that will work in both LHD and RHD configurations and will keep ALOT of people happy.
