Yes i went past a few days ago, they are doing their first one ever, however they dont do the dsg upgrade as i dont believe APR have one.

Looking for a group that will do the HPA dsg and ecu upgrade. Bloody tough though finding someone.

            Correct,

We are not ready to release anything for the DSG gearbox yet

It would cost a lot more than an S3 without the reliablilty not to mention would cost the best part of $50k, as it's not as cheap as you think . It's a good way to blow a lot of cash but nice if you can.

DGen the R32 isn't a car you'll get heaps more power out of being NA. A lot of people say concentrate on the handling, I'd get the Haldex Gen II first and then coilovers & exhaust.

btw I've got the new APR tune on my 32, it irons out some of the luls in the power curve and improves throttle response. Haven't really heard any complaints, but wont be heaps more like with a GTI.

I'd be weary of some tunes out there, some people here weren't very happy and got less power than stock.

Miltek exhaust first, CAI 2nd and then KW Var2 Coilovers. Haldex Gen 2 is definite recommendation but need to check with regards to warranty on that.

Although with crappy Australian Road rules and speeds not too many places can drive 160km + to utilise the turbo upgrades (looking forward to 20th August when get back to two weeks of driving at decent speeds instead of ****ty 50mph on freeways in Perth)

But G-rig you're right on the HGP bi-turbo €27500, still half way to saving for that unless I sell one .:R, but atleast it is designed for DSG gearing with clutch upgrade.

Thanks G-Rig. Have you had any experience with any other ECU upgrades or any feedback beyond APR?

Looking into the Haldex controller also. I think to get the power i am after i will need to go for the forced induction upgrade. I was expecting a little more performance from the R32. Not to say i dont enjoy it, it drives and handles great, just needs another 50bhp or so to carry its 1500kgs a bit easier. Either that or i will have to go on a diet and reduce my 85kg to something more respectable.

I've had the DMS tune which was good too, no experience with the others sorry.

I agree the best way to get more power is forced induction but too expensive on these cars - I'd personally go for a 135i or m3 before doing that.

                        Heh, I could drop 10kg..

If you want the R32 to go faster you'd be better off taking out the spare tyre and reducing weight of the car..

Carbon fibre the bonnet not sure about availability in Aust but pretty easily accessible part in UK

Little spacer saver spare not going drop too much weight

                            CF bonets not legal.

Got Lightweight wheels that make a difference, saves equiv. to 68kg (unsprung mass rule, 4x).

CF Parts are legal if they are ADR Approved.
From memory there are only a few places that produce ADR approved carbon parts in Australia though.

Righto, well CF bonnets are illegal as they shatter instead of crumple. And if no one makes them in AUS then it doesn't matter. I personally wouldn't risk my insurance with one.
