Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    i think dats wot it is called.. the front engine mount..

    i need one.. where can i buy the replacement which is supposed to be upgrade/better then the stock ones..

    i forgot where to get them from.. would rather buy from here in AUS

      I was very surprised to find that I could easily obtain steering rack and other bushes from of all places Super Cheap Auto. They had to be ordered in but it only took a day. The manufacturer is Australian here is their website (http://www.superpropoly.com). You can download their very extensive 22Mb catalog but to save you

          Lots of tuning companies make uprated engine mounts...I know Tim has a few for our golfs, APR does some, VF in the US even do some I think (but they're quite pricey). Depending on the outcome you wish to achieve, most tuning companies should have a small range to choose from.
