ECS Clutch kits - other parts required?

hi there peeps

about to shell out on a new clutch for the golf and either going getting a Stage 1 or Stage 2 clutch kit from ECS (probably will be Stage 1 as 2 looks to be a bit of an overkill for my minor future mods)

my question is whether i am likley to need anything else when fitting it?

i ask as i noticed that the Stage 2 kit has a few extra parts such as throwout bearing and ring gear which arent included in the Stage 1 kit

are these parts worth replacing while everything is apart? or is there anything else that people have come across in their experiences?

just want to have everything together so downtime is kept minimal

I keep the kits in stock , only thing to really worry about is the thrust bearing , sometimes what is supplied is different to whats in your car , you can swap the bearing over though , you just need to remove the casing off the thrust bearing
You should also get a clutch slave , and if you have an older gti the plastic linkage bit , the one that has the 13mm nut attached , they tend to break

Dan, I have a new slave cylinder in shed. I also have a new arm that supports the bearing. The one on the Audi cracked and fell to bits.

If you were to break that plastic but Seb is talking of, I have one on my gearbox that is still in one piece if you need one in a rush.
