I am looking for a supplier preferably in NSW for some Forged pistons ,Rods and other goodies for my Mk2 Gti 8v 1.8L dx series if anyone knows where i can get such stuff can you please share your wisdom with me .......Thanks

Yeah true... but I dunno about their service. They were supposed to have the 159mm Scat rods with 21mm pins a few months ago and I've never heard back from them nor has anyone else who ordered these (though, in fairness, we haven't yet paid).

I think the 144mm ones are there, though, in which case they're damn good value as they come with ARP rod bolts aswell

There's also a seller for the German Woessner Pistons hovering around and you can get the pistons from him for about 500Euro all in. Most of their off the shelf ones are 13:1 or 8:1, though... turbo low, or race car high!! Do custom make, but don't know the price.

We get our con rods custom made in Morpeth of all places, both 'I' beam and 'H' beam, to any length or pin size. Price is quite reasonable, I think.If you want furthur information contact me privately
