Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Etuners Australia tune on Tiguan 162

    Installed a custom downpipe, Amron sports muffler, BMC drop in filter & snow guard removed on my stage 1 tuned Tig.
    Read 173 kw on dyno. Installed stage 2, read 185 kw, most increase at top end.

    Did you get a downpipe made? do you have any info and pics of it?
    I am toying with building one or buying the CTS downpipe.

      It was made in Brisbane by Rob Bliss Exhausts. It’s a bit hard to get pictures of it as made and installed while the car was on a hoist. I’m getting too old to crawl under to take photos, sorry.

        Details of the muffler? I replaced mine with an DEA performance muffler and it was horrible with drone and vibration.

          It’s an Aussie made stainless steel sports (straight through) muffler. There is slight vibration and drone around 1500 rpm, but if you keep the revs above this, no problem. I think the downpipe contributes to the drone.
