Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • My Mk5 GTI mods.

Just fitted my APR complete exhaust and Carbonio intake. Got a very deep exhaust note and added power. Not out to cause any disputes, just thought you might be interested.
For those who haven't seen under a MK5, note the flat panelling under the car.

Par 6 Golf GTI. Coilovers, BBS CH Wheels, APR'd
Caddy van 05/07 (colourcoded) (BRIGHT! orange!) coilovers, Konis 18in. wheels, Oettinger tuned

                  PS.
Couldn't get rid of all the wallaby blood of the heat shield. I was glad he was lying down, hate to hit one in this car, would cost a lot to repair

Over heard at the pub... "I hear everywhere that APR is a POS and I should go and buy another type of chip, induction etc etc..."

Was just about to hit the loud pedal this morning at 6.45 on a backroad when I saw a parked car with its lights on, got closer and yeah, it was the local cop. In the middle of nowhere! Got less of a life than me!!!

Also notice the huge tunnel on the Mk5s. Built for 4motion!
