Oil Cooler for T4 Auto Gearbox

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a separate oil cooler kit for the auto gearbox? We are resident in the UK and our r/h drive Caravelle drives a dream when solo, but the gearbox overheats when towing. We have been told that this problem can be cured by retro-fitting a bigger oil cooler. It is already fitted with a water "sardine can" on top of the gearbox but is there a proper kit available in Australia from a VW dealer, or do you know of a company that may make them? Any help would be much appreciated.

There's no bespoke kit that I'm aware of. Most stuff here is off the shelf Hydra Cool from Davies Craig which is plugged into the existing cooler unit.

Thank for that i have rang the suppliers in the uk and things are looking up.I wasn't sure if vw did a kit as you have much higher temp than us.

It's not a kit for the specific car, it's not really needed as they just mount on the radiator and piggyback off the existing cooler, well at least the PWR one does. And that's how it is for most cars.
