Wow, what a top car, dude! Couldn't get a better base.

Glad to see the coils arrived in good order. Itching to see how it looks with them and the drop plates/extenders fitted.

Wheels... Now there's a head ****. Good luck with that one! Haha.

        15 x 7's optimum size for a mk1 rocco .

I have tried 16's, it looks like its running road roller wheels ( feels like it at the steering wheel to)

Factory 13's + 14 look a bit tiny tho soak the bumps good.

        15's are ducks nuts.

Make sure you fit new top mounts for your front shocks, the bodyshell hammers out from rooted top mounts a lot easier than a MK1 golf does for some reason.

        Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

        Cheers,
        Grant...

Thanks Fellas yeah i like 15s in my opinion they are slightly large for the theme i am after but like all wheel whores i wont be able to resist one of each...

Thanks Ed C from Tas my wheel arrived this week...

Going to hopefully get the coils in by end of this week too lifes way too busy at the moment barely got time to wipe my own ass.

Anyone know any good motor trimmers in sydders ive heard J&A at five dock are pretty good just need the driver side bolsters done on the scheels.

****ing swam here through millions of threads about window tint and dsg gearboxes and am not even rewarded by a picture of an undriveably low S1, i am disappointed to say the least!

Hahahha!!! Yeh I may move the thread to the restorations section!

So small update the drop plates are way too extravagant n it looks like too much effort to make them work (for now at least). It was almost tucking rim with coil fully wound up!!!

So big head f**k plates have to come out! Although it seems it will sit fairly low without the plates even!

Hopefully all done n laid out just for Jace by Satdy!!!

I'm pretty sure you can have the plates at either 2 or 3 inch's Dom. IIRC you may have to flip the hub upside down for it. Don't quote me on this though as I never tried it myself.

the rocco has rear discs. i know with rear drums, you basically rotate the backing plate 180˚ and re-drill the stub axle bolt holes and you're done.

do some investigation on vortex dom, someone would've used OSVW drop plates with discs on the back of an A1/S1 before for sure!

That was my next question after thinking about it a little haha.

Drum swap for lows and handbrakies?

With the disc if I flip em the calliper sits on the other side then I'll do some more digging!

And yes yes pics to come been mega lazy

Been very lazy this week but got what i wanted to do done which is good...a bit of progress!

coils are in!!! electric problem was alarm draining on battery so thats been whipped out thank goodness!

also managed to put the new steering wheel in and tint the highbeams.

i am happy with how it looks but as per previous posts i really wanna try and get it lower i may adjust it during the week just to experiment how much lower i can get without spoiling the ride quality too much.

                            pics to do the talking;

Your missing the left side dash undertray, i will see if I can find you one the next trip to UK and Germany ( July) watch out for the RA's , the alloy has a very low heat treatment, the wheels distort very easily ( good choice of wheel tho !! )

Looks like the wheel is missing the wolfy crest in the horn button
