Well it is green but it is not the wrong coolant.

Some of the ABFs were coupled to 02A boxes which are hydraulic, with normal clutch. Some had 020 linkage trans with clutch cable, mainly in the 8v but some 16V did. then the later ones that had 020 had a hydraulic slave operating the release lever instead of the cable, this being on the 020. As for the coolant back then that motor had G11, you can still get it in independent Vw suppliers but its gone from Vw shelves. G12 , G12+ and g12++.

It was actually pretty straight forward and now the clutch is light as.

Ah ha. I have one of those slave cylinders in my shed from a corrado
And yes, correct VAG coolant is pink

I used VR6 clutch master and slave cylinders and even the connecting pipework. The firewall of the Seat looks like it was made for the master cylinder to be fitted to it. No more problems with pedal boxes breaking as the strain on pushing the pedal in is much less than when the cable gets old and the effort needed to push the clutch in gets heavier over time.2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son
