Just a thought - and not that i need a new engine in my car just yet, but i read up on the VR6 conversion thread and figured the costs and hassels involved wouldnt be worth it (unless your Golf Loon!

Would it be the same hassel if we tried to slot in a 1.8 turbo engine???
Or maybe a Naturally Aspirated GTi engine perhaps? Into a 1.8l 8v MK3 Golf?
My 1.8CL is a bit of a slug at times and after driving my Beeza GTi 2.0 around i wouldnt mind having that as my conversion! (If it ever did happen)
