  • Not directly (mainly as it was running so rough before the ignition birthday)but top end seems to be massive now , even hit the rev limiter in 2nd the other day and was still pulling so good things are happening. Gotta move the boost gauge a little more into site as it's getting hard now looking down and trying to watch the road and the rev counter.

      • You watch that boost gauge young man!! ;0)

Hook up the Innovate if you can, just plug the probe into it and connect the power. It needs a 9volt battery as well. You can just have someone watch the AFR in real time no need to log it.

          • Just finished reading the whole Thread, at work. lol
Don't think the boss would be to happy about me taking time out learning more.

Very nice build you have there. I really like the engine bay plus the goodies you made too.
Any chance of getting a radiator cap filler piece like yours perhaps?

Then I too can ditch the problematic Water bottle. lol

Have you sorted your bleeding issue at all?
I had a very similar issue to yours. It turned out there was a small air bubble in the ABS pump. once driving it would make it's way into the system and affect brakes or clutch.

Ended up doing a brake flush with the engine on. In addition, I activated the ABS pump a few times via vag-com.
Got rid off all the crap in the Pump including the Air bubble.

Otherwise, will be watching this car morph even more.
Thanks for sharing your build with all of us.

            • The Fuel sender has been playing up so in the back of my mind I was worried about the pump as the stutter is still evident here and there. So introduce walbro 255 now there's no doubts re fuel and they reckon it helps out with a 4 bar fuel system.

              Mounted stealth off course.

              Relayed.

              And remounted my boost gauge.

Thanks bro. Yer I could do you one of those junctions pm me , I pressure bled the system with my home made bleeder and it's good now. The 02a slave conversion makes the engagement nice and tight and combined with the stage 3 clutch take off is super tight.

                    • Hell yes , chalk and cheese. Don't know if the oettinger turbo I've got is specced , but combined with my other gear it's very very tidy.
