        cheers.
ive been a bit slack with the Mk2 lately. especialy with taking pics.
its coooooold down here and there is so much road work on the way to work that the car hasn't had a good clean for the last 2 months or so.
im tossing around the idea of a 16v for it at the moment runing on K-jet.
but really havn't come to a conclusion. Im a bit scared to go from a 2.0 to a 1.8....so maybe a 2.0 16v.....or my 2.0 block with a 16v head and some EFI and turbo action. Its such a brain strain.
but the Mk1 is for sale so I can get my GTiR upto daily driver specs and take the mk2 off the road for some TLC.

Few things are certain...and that is some coil overs, a Bonrath grille (de badged 2x lights) and some paint....
after that is done then ill move to interior...
If its a nice day on saturday I may give her a bath and take some pics

only pics i have with new rims are theese

Time to pull my finger out.
I finaly decided to sell my last long term project (RNN14 GTiR pulsar)
sold within a week...so now its time to get on with the MK2.

Ive started by puting on some Compomotive CXN rims 16x7.with toyo TR1s tyres..soon to be 16x8 when i get some transport and take the old girl in for some Paint and a bit of guard pumping.
Also on the way is KW v2 coil overs. So hopefully over the winter things will start happening ...
when a new daily thrasher comes I will start pulling her to bits.

looking like this now.....but about 1.5inch higher...due to still being dail transport...for a lil' while.
                Cheers, Benny

Its running a mild 2E on k-jet..I'll leave it with that for the moment I think.
tossing up alot of ideas in that area. 16v 2.0, keep 2E, 2e on throttle bodies etc. hehe. Ill wait and see what pans out. biggest possibility will be a 16v on throttle bodies.
                    Cheers, Benny

2l 16V on quad throttles, = much hotness!!!

rims are looking good, will work well with a bit of dish imo

what are you getting for a new daily?

I know a 20vT would be very cool, and I had the option to do it myself but I just thought it'd take too much character away from the car, with a semi quiet turbo motor in.

                            2.0 16v FTW!!!!

When I have the money I want to rebuild my KR to 1.9L to give a good compromise of revs/torque increase. Soo many plans soo little money.

Dooooooooooooooooooooooo it! Those old escort are a bugger for axle tramp but drop in a t-15 5 speed and they are a barrel of fun.

Go the A4. I couldn't bear the urgency's of life now without a semi reliable modern car. Day 1 of the eski being dead as a doornail you'll thank me. They do it quite often (and I've had a few).
