Conversion mk11 gti (88) to vr6 (94)

Well it's been a long time coming but I've just got hold of a 94 VR6 complete, however it does have an auto box, what I need to know (apart from everthing) is where to start? Which gearbox to use? Are there any major mods to the bodywork.

Help from the guys that have been down this road would be very very helpfull thanks.

You need a VR6 gearbox. Nothing else will work.
