  • 2L 16V Engine - Code 9A

    Hi guys,

Anybody know what one of these engines is worth, currently running and about 150,000kms on the clock

Thinking it would be good for a Mk1 conversion if at the right price

    Cheers

Some people would give a kidney I reckon!

Not sure from a cash point of view.

What's the full story, do you have everything from under the bonnet of a Passat because getting hold of anything that's missing would be really hard work.

    Good luck with the sale.

ive got one in my mk2 here in nz they are wicked engines and well worth the time putting it in! mines stock standard with 35mm intake manifold and running a saab dizzy and it puts out 115hp which aint bad considering the engine was a mystery and it didnt cost me jack! got a 50mm intake, new kr head and kr ecu and loom for it in the uk waiting me to pick it up and it should start putting well into the mid 100's
