  • MKIV with Audi TT Brakes

Has anyone performed this conversion? Is it worth it? and what are the costs?

    Whats the original car ?
If its gti you need discs and caliper carriers . Carriers are like $300 each from the dealer . Bora V6 4 motion and Audi S3 run 312mm discs

I was considering it but have decided to go dimpled/slotted discs with green stuff pads.I had a similar setup on my Vr6 and it stopped dead!

I did find a good wrecker in england on ebay--

Keep us up to date on how you go.

I have them on my A3 turbo. Stoptastic!!!
I doubt that your GL will require brakes of this calibre. Not to wind you up but you could spend your money better.

I got the brackets in from the UK, they were 170 quid delivered I think. I got the plain discs and greenstuff from a local brake place, $400 I think they were.

Hey there i have a set of Audi S3 brakes in my bed room sitting around full 312mm rotors, carriers and calipers might try to get them on the Polo, if i dont. I am happy to sell. Conversion on the MK4 GTI should be a straight swap, but i used to have a MK4 generation 1.6L and the hubs were diferent.
