Perth Superkhana Day 6th July 2008, Mixed Event

    Hey fellow Perthites,

    For those interested:

Was thinking of entering the next Superkhana day Sunday 6th July 2008to be run at the Speed Dome which is at the Eastern end of Eddie Barron Drive, in Midvale.

    Couple sites to review:
http://www.classicrally.com.au/ (They should be opening entry nominations in June? via this site?)

Looks like you do 4 runs which can range between 45 to 75 seconds each depending on how fast you do em in? Cost is about $65 for the event.

Drivers need a good quality helmet. long sleeves and a competition license - many car clubs can issue a CAMS license or they can issue AASA Licenses on the day for $50 for a year's License. (Would be handy should you intend to enter other similiar events?)

Spectating is free for those just wanting to watch?...

Check out the March 2008 results.... be nice to get an RColt or two in that top dozen Check the February results and you should find Chesta's Suzuki Swift near the top bunch

Also keeping an 'interested persons' list there.

I'll be entering that one in my Golf GT

Is Chesta's the blue swift? That thing was really well driven last time I was out at the superdome. Incredibly competitive for what (i believe) is a stock car.

If this is one of those cone course things, count me out. I'm horribly dyslexic and would score 'wrong way' each run

But, if its not, maybe i'll enter the next one in octoberish.

Hehe No! The other left! lysdexia kicks in again

There probably is some normal motorkhana stuff involved but from the photos on that page it looks mainly like track.

True true it is Sunday (I think Gareth needs some extra practice before hand!)

I'll see how the day goes, may go and watch a bit as I think I recongise a certain car in the recent photos.
