It should be a few seconds quicker than that. It only had one warm up run before an ignition pick up failed.

Last Saturday, friend of mine, Justin got invited down to Wakefield park for a timed session track day that was being ran alongside the Club VeeDub "VW Nationals. Knowing that I don't shoot alot of motorsport, Justin asked me to come tag along and head down to spectate the event and grab a few snaps through out the day.

Started the morning at 5:50am (5 hours sleep) feeling hungover and hungry.


First stop, United @ Minto for some 100 Octane fuel




Arrived at Goulburn at around 8:30, Quick pit-stop to replenish some H2o


Needed some food to keep me alive for the rest of the day, Maccy D's Hash brown and Sausage w/ Egg muffin always go down well!

With Justin off to get scrutineering and papers sorted out, I got some free time to walk around the pits to see the other competitor's cars were: E36 looking tough as nails.

That "very smart" looking polo in the car park is mine. I was there with the dodgy looking vr6 (trickysimon and zalemate) that sounded amazing and the black seat Ibiza (water boy). If things go according to plan the polo will be in the sprints next year and not just watching.
