I think he just doesn't care for all the rubbish that comes with being in the limelight he just wants to race and drink vodka and hog all the champagne for himself on the podium! I have not seen him once spray other people he just drinks it.

I doubt it. His "people" including himself don't seem too keen. He's stated he's happy with his life outside of F1 now.
Would be wierd with him back and there's no need for it. Time for more new talent.

yes that is so true. but keep in mind ross Brawn is in the team and they dont have a driver lined up for both seat. So there is a chance that he could come back. buy the way they said last night in ROC that Shumi did not come back becouse of neck problem is becouse of lack of performance of the car.

Just goes to show that Shumi was there for the wins, and not for the sport. If he was really into racing, he would have raced for the hell of it.

Anyone know anything about this crazy talk of Shumi going to Merc Brawn? I thought he had the prancing stallions blood flowing through his veins. And really surprised about the rumours given he supposedly just signed a new deal on production car development with Ferrari.

Why would you race if the race is not competitive enough? If your Shumi (7 time world chap) would you sacrifice your reputations? NOPE!!! It’s about winning mate. And if you have Ross behind your back (The mind F1 winning strategy) you like to be in that team.

But so far the speculation is still up in air.

Rosberg is done deal but the other driver seat is still available. But if Nikki Lauda did it, it can happend again.

Perth's Daniel Ricciardo sets the fastest time of the weekend at the end of the testing at Jerez!! Good on him!!
There's now rumours he will be Buemi's team mate at Toro Rosso next year. Two Aussies in F1=awesome!

Sauber have also signed as the 13th and final team for next year.

And Kimi has signed with Citroen for the WRC in 2010!

Also, Volkswagen have reportedly denied strong rumours of joining F1 in 2012, although I don't buy it. I reckon they'll be there depending on the regulations and to what extent KERS will be used. I'm betting they'll supply for Red Bull. Hopefully Ricciardo will be driving for them then!! An Aussie in a VW powered F1 team... aaaahhh, bliss....

great news! F1.com are suggesting he might be Red Bull's backup and test driver, hadnt hear the Torro Rosso rumour.

Here's hoping he gets a great chance for 2010!!
