Insane weather today! Horizontal rain, Gale force winds, Sleet.

I'm back at home now drying out, I'll pop up some pics after I've unloaded.

There's not a lot of pictures, conditions were apalling. Jodie managed to snap a few shots from the comfort of the Bora.

The track is awesome, even in the wet. I think my best time was 78.17 I'll post the official results when they're up.

I was probably about mid-field in the results, a lot of people were having adhesion issues

I managed to spin out on my 7th pass but kept it on the track with nil damage. 8 runs all up.

Must go again in the dry.

Hmmm, think I might put the spin out down to operator error rather than the car at this stage.

Came off a right hander into a steep descent with a left hander at the bottom. Tapped the brakes before I'd begun to make the transition and the car kept turning right

The back end passed me on my left and the car span 270° on the spot.

A few other people had come off in the same spot by the re-entry mud on the track.

WRX's make good lawn mowers judging by the amount of weeds that came back in one person's spoiler.

There's a downhill section you can't see from this vantage point that's just crazy. The locals have dubbed it "Oh Sh*t". It's sort of a roller coaster descent.

I don't work my brakes this hard on the circuit normally, even in the wet I could smell the brakes when I was coming off.

looks like I'll have to get down there some day, looks like a great track, and a heap of fun!
