Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

If you're desperate there is a copy in the state library. You can't borrow it but you can photocopy the pages you need.

I have a Corrado one here at home. It's about the most expensive one they do. Proper good info in it though. Saved me a fortune. Would be getting on for 200 dollars in Oz.

Anything in particular you want from it?

There are 2 kinds of Haynes, the service and repair(pants) and the Workshop. The workshop is the one with all the good info in it.The mk2 one has a green cover. Have a look on ebay.co.uk they often come up. If you see one and they won't post it here let me know, I have plenty of folk that would do it for me/you.

                              Hi!

i have found that Golf MkV 2.0TDI manuals are hard to come by - aside from logging into erWin ( https://erwin.volkswagen.de/erwin/showHome.do ) there seems to be no option to buy from a source like Bentley - Bentley do not list manuals the Golf 2.0TDI. Has anyone had any luck buying Golf MkV 2.0TDI manuals in print or on CD/DVD?

                              thanks.
