Manual Gearbox oil?

Hi all,

I have a MKIV Golf 1.6L 5sp manual.
What is the oil recommended for the gearbox?
If it is a VW standard, what is the equivilent?

Motul Gear 300, Redline shockproof or Penrite SiN

... or probably Castrol Syntrax 75w-90. You can get it at repco.

Syntrax coats the bearings nicely , should feel a smoother change after around the 200ks mark.
