Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Where do you buy your petrol from?

I’m not sure if there’s been a poll about fuel before, I know it’s certainly been discussed in other threads.

After watching this video, I was keen to see which is the favourite amongst the Mk6 crowd...

Are we counting diesel as well? Because I get ultimate diesel from BP and 98 octane petrol from Caltex.

I thought fuel topics had already been done to death in the Mk6 forums. Might no have a poll like ^ but lots of pages to read though

iirc BP is generally preferred although personally the (not so) local BP's where I am aren't as great compared to Shell VPower.
Some say he was the Stig... all we know is that he drives a VW Transporter.

A petrol station is generally a good start....
